Art House Exchange:

a place for creative community

Art House Exchange is loosely defined as a monthly meeting…for the meeting of minds. We want Art House Exchange to be for Dallas artists, what the Inklings were for C.S. Lewis, J.R.R Tolkien, and others at the University of Oxford in the 1930s-40s.  They met in pubs as both academics and friends, debating ideas, and encouraging each other’s progress.  For active creators, and those living the artful life, it seems that there can never be too many opportunities for collaboration and discussion.  It is often difficult to find a sounding board for ideas, or simply to find like minded people with whom to discuss what matters to you.  We hope that the Art House Exchange will be a watering hole for many of you, both socially and spiritually.  And if you’re simply looking for a coffee or a drink, it will be that kind of watering hole, too.  We want Art House Dallas to be a community that is built and defined organically.  We look forward to seeing  these meaningful gatherings facilitate the exchanges of ideas, and the formation of rewarding relationships between musicians, writers, artists, etc.
